home sweet home.

some photos of my living space.

the town where i was born.

the town where i was loved.

the town where i grew.

the town i were i learned the basics and was given direction.

the town where i was taught right from wrong.

the town where i learned the facts of life.

the town where i was taught to love, share and care.

the town where i was allowed freedom to create.

the town where i could express myself through Gods awesome creation... water.

the town where i made amazing friendships and will cherish forever.

the town where i found and lost love.

the town where all the dirt goes down.

the town i like to call home.

the small town.

my town.

scratches and nibbles.

i know I've posted many posts..

but i got a puppy!

name: Levi (not very interesting i know. family decision.)
age: +- 9 weeks
breed: black labrador cross staffie cross ridge back.

super excited.

its my very own little rascal.
he eats just about anything and everything he can find.

he loves chewing snails, flowers, grass, bones, leaves, bird poo and most of all me.(my hands. arms. feet. legs. and when he gets to it, the hair on my head.)

so im full of scars and im loving it.

just like a real baby he has been waking us up at early hours of the morning just for a little bit of attention and company.
so every now and then you will see me at 3 in the morning sitting on the kitchen floor stroking the crying baby to sleep.

believe me its all worth it.

The Genocide Ball

...

an interesting song by therobotateme

Come put your shoes on!
Let's go out tonight!
There's a Genocide ball to attend!

Yeah, fix your hair up!
And Put your lipstick on
we've got ringside seats to watch from

I'll bet on Jordan, you've got
South Africa!
You never know who'll win next
We'll make millions when we go out tonight!
Why don't you come along and join us too.

Come put your shoes on,
let's go out tonight!
There's a genocide ball!

not so interesting photos.

toothpaste kisses

Cradle me
I'll cradle you
I'll win your heart
with a woop-a-woo
pulling shapes just for your eyes
so with toothpaste kisses and lines
I'll be yours and you'll be

Lay with me, I'll lay with you
we'll do the things that lovers do
put the stars in our eyes
and with heart shaped bruises
and late night kisses
devine

guess again..

fun.

tom.

i feel...

compulsive?

Creepy creepy creepy

do all People have weird habits and tendencies or is it just me.

Anyway I was devouring my supper tonight when I suddenly craved to wet my pallet. I needed refreshment juice. Now to do this would mean turning my back on my meal exposing it to the eyes of other family members and risking a potential snap and grab ( not that this has ever happened but I somehow have this engrained fear that it could happen) and my meal plate could loose a tasty piece of veggie or crackling.

Well what I did was place my knife and fork perfectly over a pea and sorted out my food perfectly so that any sort of steal would be noticed as everything on the plate was perfectly layed out.

This was the first time I consciously noted this little obsession and noticed how I had been doing it for years .

creepy

crooked teeth

some more from my flooded cave adventure.

tom.

the mariner's revenge

i like this one.
one of my favourite.

some more...

and more to come.

We are two mariners
Our ships' sole survivors
In this belly of a whale

Its ribs our ceiling beams
Its guts our carpeting
I guess we have some time to kill

You may not remember me
I was a child of three
And you, a lad of eighteen

But I remember you
And I will relate to you
How our histories interweave

At the time you were
A rake and a roustabout
Spending all your money
On the whores and hounds
Oh Ohhhhh

You had a charming air
All cheap and debonair
My widowed mother found so sweet

And so she took you in
Her sheets still warm with him
Now filled with filth and foul disease

As time wore on you proved
A debt-ridden drunken mess
Leaving my mother
A poor consumptive wretch
Oh Ohhhhh

And then you disappeared
Your gambling arrears
The only thing you left behind

And then the magistrate
Reclaimed our small estate
And my poor mother lost her mind

Then one day, in spring
My dear sweet mother died
But before she did
I took her hand as she, dying, cried:
Oh Ohhhhh

"Find him, bind him
Tie him to a pole and break
His fingers to splinters
Drag him to a hole until he
Wakes up naked
Clawing at the ceiling
Of his grave
*sigh*"

It took me fifteen years
To swallow all my tears
Among the urchins in the street

Until a priory
Took pity and hired me
To keep their vestry nice and neat

But never once in the employ
Of these holy men
Did I ever, once, turn my mind
From the thought of revenge
Oh Ohhhhh

One night I overheard
The prior exchanging words
With a penitent whaler from the sea

The captain of his ship
Who matched you toe to tip
Was known for a wanton cruelty

The following day
I shipped to sea
With a privateer

And in the whistle
Of the wind
I could almost hear...
Oh Ohhhhh

"Find him, bind him
Tie him to a pole and break
His fingers to splinters
Drag him to a hole until he
Wakes up naked
Clawing at the ceiling
Of his grave

"There is one thing I must say to you
As you sail across the sea
Always, your mother will watch over you
As you avenge this wicked deed"

[haunting, sailor-esque musical interlude lead by mandolin, accordion and tuba]

And then that fateful night
We had you in our sight
After twenty months at sea

Your starboard flank abeam
I was getting my muskets clean
When came this rumbling from beneath

The ocean shook
The sky went black
And the captain quailed

And before us grew
The angry jaws
Of a giant whale

[instrumental noise]
oh ohhhhhhhhhh
[screaming]
ohhhhh
[screaming]

Don't know how I survived
The crew all was chewed alive
I must have slipped between his teeth

But, oh! What providence!
What divine intelligence!
That you should survive
As well as me

It gives my heart
Great joy
To see your eyes fill with fear

So lean in close
And I will whisper
The last words you'll hear
Ohh Ohhhhh

guess who...
i love the guessing game.

sorry about the annoyingly long post.
